Vision XL is an intuitive add-in for Microsoft Excel that provides a faster, easier and more adaptable way to extract data from your database. There is no need for you to understand the complex structure of your database – you are able to create reports easily and quickly. Vision XL enhances the already extensive functionality of Microsoft Excel.
Vision Word is an intelligent addition to the feature rich Microsoft Word product. The access to your data that exists for both Vision XL and Vision Executive is now available within Vision Word enabling you to now harness and combine the formatting and layout strengths of Microsoft Word.
Vision Executive is a dynamic analysis and reporting application that presents an ad-hoc or pre-determined view of your data back to you in an Excel look and feel format. It allows you to delve further into the details of this report using the Breakout, Drilldown and Expand functions contained within Vision Executive. Frequently used analysis or drill paths can be saved for the next time you want to extract data.
Vision Alert is a comprehensive tool that can be used for Exception Reporting, Conditional Reporting and Scheduling of tasks. Vision Alert is an easy-to-use, highly flexible means of automating reporting tasks on an event or time-driven basis. Features called ‘ALERTS’ can be designed and triggered within Vision XL, Vision Executive or Vision Word. These ‘Alerts’ enable Vision ‘Alert’ to make automated responses to specified conditions within Vision Reports. Vision Alert schedules these tasks to run automatically at any pre-determined time or frequency without further prompting
Vision Browser contains all of the analysis and reporting features found in Vision Executive but runs as a zero footprint within your internet browser. By using this java based platform, you can deploy Executive workbooks over the internet with full functionality.
Vision Serduct - The term Serduct is a derivative of “Service and Product”. Vision provides Service to Products like SunSystems, Microsoft Great Plains, and Microsoft Axapta etc. A Vision serduct is a preconfigured, intelligent business layer that contains data access logic, business rules, security, data transformation, language translations and structures for defining rules on how data from your database can be accessed.
Vision Generator is a powerful tool that allows Vision applications (XL, Executive, Word etc) access to any database of your choice. If you have a legacy, custom built or third party application running then Vision Generator will create a ‘Serduct’ to open up any ODBC compliant database to the range of Vision Applications (Vision XL, Executive, Word, Alert etc)
